Change of representation of active ingredient in the labelling of Technescan DTPA for Injection (SIN12150P)

Transmedic Pte Ltd (Transmedic) would like to inform all healthcare professionals of the change of representation of active ingredient in the labelling of Technescan DTPA for Injection. The label representation of the active ingredient will be changed from Calcium trisodium pentetate to Pentetic acid, with no change to the effective strength of the active ingredient. It was decided to represent the strength of active ingredient using Pentetic acid as Pentetic acid gives a more accurate representation of potency. Please refer to the letter for details.
